This year’s Spring Festival — Lunar New Year Celebration at The Brooklyn Hangar in NYC was nothing short of electric. Over Presidents’ Day Weekend, the massive industrial space became a pulsating hub of lights, laughter, and unforgettable music as we rang in the Year of the Horse with thousands of other festival lovers.
From the moment we walked in, the vibe was next-level. The air buzzed with excitement, and everywhere you looked there were smiling faces, glowing outfits, and groups finding their rhythm together under the glow of intense stage lights.
Saturday’s lineup kicked off with a special DJ set from Porter Robinson that set the tone for the entire weekend. His mix was emotional, melodic, and uplifting — a unique journey that felt like both a personal soundscape and a collective celebration. The crowd moved as one, lost in the waves of sound and light that made every moment feel cinematic.
Not to be outdone, Wavedash, Hoodini, Jokah, and Gianni GLO each brought their own flavor — from high-energy drops to fresh, crowd-pleasing rhythms — keeping the dance floor alive and chaotic in the best way.
Sunday brought another surge of energy with Alan Walker headlining alongside Mike Posner, blending massive anthems with sing-along moments that turned the crowd into one huge chorus. Every track felt like a celebration, bringing people together through shared joy and pure festival energy.
But beyond the music, what made this weekend truly special was the sense of community. We cheered with strangers, danced with new friends, and felt part of something bigger, a joyful, cultural celebration that fused tradition with the electric pulse of EDM. There was laughter, unforgettable drops, and moments that didn’t just feel fun, they felt meaningful.
Lunar New Year Festival 2026 didn’t just meet expectations — it blew them away.
XOXO, The Festival Babes
