Another year, another unforgettable adventure at Big Dub Festival. Nestled deep in the forests and mountains of Artemas, Pennsylvania, Big Dub offers something truly rare: a chance to disconnect from the everyday and reconnect with nature, music, and each other.

This year, we had the absolute pleasure of experiencing Big Dub in style. Thanks to the Big Dub team, we were lucky enough to be set up with glamping tents, which made our entire weekend SO much smoother. The glamping tents brought a cozy, elevated vibe to the whole weekend, making it so much easier to focus on what really matters: the music, the community, and the memories. Let’s be real — festival camping isn’t always easy, and this year definitely brought its challenges. The heat was intense, and on the final day, a massive thunderstorm rolled through with some of the loudest thunder we’ve ever heard. Having a comfortable home base to rest, reset, and recharge made all the difference. Despite it all, we pushed through, made the most of it, and found beauty in the chaos. And thankfully, the storm finally cooled everything down, making that last night feel extra magical. 

We kicked off our weekend on Thursday, getting a lay of the land and settling in. The first day is always the best for checking out workshops (which Big Dub has plenty of), finding all of your friends, taking a swim in the lake, and fueling up for the weekend. While we arrived on Wednesday, we quickly realized that getting there on Tuesday is the ultimate move — it gives you extra time to soak in all the magic Big Dub has to offer, something we’ll absolutely be doing next year!

Friday brought one of our proudest moments: The Festival Babes Meet-Up! So many radiant souls came through to vibe, connect, snap photos, and celebrate what this community is all about. Followed by the famous Big Dub Catalina Wine Mixer, the vibes couldn’t be more elevated. If you know, you know – the Catalina Wine Mixer at Big dub is the most chaotic, outrageous, and wildly fun hour of the whole weekend. An unhinged, silly, anything-goes dance party you have to see to believe. We also showed up strong for our very own DJ Babe, Hexxa, whose set was so lit the crowd almost broke the rail — she had to stop mid-set just to let everyone catch their breath. The energy was absolutely wild.

And speaking of unforgettable sets… Big Dub’s music lineup definitely delivered this year. From the filthy heavy bass to the vibey late-night grooves, there was something for every mood. Sets we’ll be replaying in our heads for months to come include:

One of the most unforgettable moments of the weekend? Dancing under the stars at HiScore at 2:30 AM with my best friend during Camboi’s 80s & Disco party — surrounded by lights, laughter, and shufflers who were tearing up the floor. Pure magic. 

But Big Dub isn’t just about the music — it’s also about exploration and expression. Some of the dopest spaces this year included:
🌌 Lucid Lounge – where artists, producers, and creatives hosted engaging workshops on art, music production, wellness, and more. It was a beautiful space for learning, sharing, and networking.

 🌈 The Illuminarium – a glow-in-the-dark interactive camp with laser drawing, trippy visuals, and immersive vibes. An art lover’s dream and a sensory playground after dark.

🧘🏻‍♀️The Expanse – a welcoming space dedicated to wellness, self-expression, and growth, where you can enjoy massages, Reiki, sound baths, yoga, and meditation, while connecting with others to share experiences, release emotions, and expand consciousness in a safe, supportive environment.

Other core memories:
🎮 Playing video games with the homies in the middle of a banging set at HiScore

🍑 A very serious, heated but hilarious TWERK competition 

⚽️ Kickball tournaments right in our backyard (aka our views from Glamping)

🎥 Movie nights –  including a dreamy screening of “Alice in Wonderland”

There were also those quiet moments — escaping the noise and finding a hammock to sway in, taking a break when your body calls for rest and being able to do that in the midst of the magic. Listening to your body, your heart, and the beat in the distance. Just being. While also being a few feet away from your friends and the stage – that’s the beauty of Big Dub. 

And if you’re already counting down the days… same. The good news? Lil Dub is just around the corner this September — a more intimate reunion held right back at Four Quarters Farm, where we can relive the vibes on a smaller, soulful scale.

To Big Dub — thank you for another beautiful, wild, sweaty, stormy, soul-filling weekend. And to our Festival Babes fam & the Big Dub community — thank you for showing up, being authentically yourself, and dancing with us through the storm; it wouldn’t be Big Dub without the amazing community that it attracts.
