One of our favorite times of the year just wrapped and we are still buzzing! Art Basel took over Miami last week and we can’t stop talking about the moments that made it unforgettable for us at TFB.
Kicking things off on Wednesday December 3 was the iiipoints x Mau P Skate Rave. was honestly one of the coolest and most “only in Miami” setups we’ve ever seen. Picture this: a whole crowd packed right down the middle of a print shop, and on BOTH sides there were ramps where skaters are doing insane tricks! One moment you’re dancing to Mau P and the next someone is doing a Frontside 540 flip. This was on the outside stage, Stage 1.
Inside at Stage 2, the vibe was super cozy and intimate. This was where a lot of the local talent played. We went straight to see Nicole Gallamini, who had everyone grooving and 1-800-Lolita came in with that spicy energy! Meanwhile outside, we were able to catch the tail end of Ben Sterling’s set and wow… he had everyone locked in. Then Mau P came in and completely destroyed it. From start to finish, Mau P had everyone losing their minds. You couldn’t not dance, even the skaters on the ramps were nodding along lol.

The biggest surprise of the night? Spotting the Mokibaby bus parked up like a little oasis, perfect for recharging when you needed a break or an aesthetic photo opp moment. Add in the dope Von Dutch x iiiPoints merch drop and you’ve got the most gnarly, skate-meets-rave mashup to kick off the week. 10/10 would most definitely drop in again.
Then later on in the night Deeproot Tribe delivered an unforgettable night for day two of Art Basel, lighting up the Club Space Miami terrace in the morning with infectious afro house beats and feel good energy. The night began at 11PM and went all the way through 11 AM with various artists. The crowd danced nonstop as Francis Mercier took control of the decks, blending deep tribal grooves with uplifting melodies that perfectly matched the Miami sunrise. Smiling faces and that signature Space magic that keeps everyone moving. As the sunrise broke over the terrace, Francis Mercier went B2B with Moblack. It was the perfect way to start off Art Basel weekend. The crowd was full of love for the music and community and that’s what makes Space such an iconic destination! Deep root tribe even had merch on the first floor of space highlighting their terrace takeover.
On Sunday December 7, GOLFOS lit up Downtown Miami on the final night of Art Basel, turning the courthouse steps into the coolest open-air dance floor in the city. Pawsa and Dennis Cruz dropped their signature funky house all night and the whole block was grooving! The event started at 5pm with Maher Daniel and by 8pm GOLFOS was on and they didn’t come off till midnight. The views were unreal, with the Miami skyline glowing behind the crowd and the metro trains passing by behind the stage, it was a one of a kind view. It felt like one big neighborhood party, just with better music and way more style. They had vendors and food stands, the iconic Space Odyssey traveled all the way from Club Space, and delivered some of their famous dishes, including the grilled cheese everyone knows and loves. The night captured the true spirit of Miami: bold, energetic, and effortlessly cool.
If you are always on the lookout for dope events all year long, make sure to keep an eye on Space Miami and the festival III Points. They never miss and before you know it Miami Music Week will be here with some of the best parties the city gets to experience up close. Hope everyone had an amazing Art Basel. Until next time:)
