Take an EDM festival, put it on a cruise, and what do you get? GROOVE CRUISE BABY!

Groove Cruise is unlike any other festival, and not only because of the obvious (it’s on a boat, duh). There are 72 hours of NON-STOP music, a 24-hour buffet, artist excursions, restaurants, a day on the beach in the Caribbean, and so much more. Last year was my first year attending with The Festival Babes as a creator, and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t really nervous to attend.

I mean, flying from the other side of the country for a festival I wasn’t familiar with on top of going with girls I also wasn’t that close to, I had every right to be nervous! PLUS I didn’t know a ton of the artists and it was my first time going on a cruise ship, EVER.

One thing the rave community has shown me is that you will get rewarded for stepping out of your comfort zone. Saying “YES” to Groove Cruise 2024 caused the most beautiful butterfly affect of non-stop fun, creating memories with new friends, staying up to watch the sun rise with your new #gcfam, and exploring the Caribbean.

You share a room with 3 other people, 2 bunk beds, and NOT a lot of space – so you can imagine you become friends pretty quickly. I was in a room with girls I didn’t know, and although it can feel like college all over again, you create bonds that will last a lifetime. I mean, these are the girls who are helping you get ready, matching your outfit vibes with you, running up to the top deck to catch the sunset, and dragging you to the dining hall to get dessert at 4 am.

If you ever have the opportunity to attend Groove Cruise, I couldn’t recommend it enough. It kils me that I cannot attend this year, but I will absolutely be going next year.
