On September 27th, over 10,000 fans packed BMO Stadium, ready to get absolutely drenched in music and water! Last year, we had the pleasure of experiencing S2O 2024 in New York when “The World’s Wettest Party” touched down on U.S. soil for the first time. We thought we knew what we were getting into this time around, but when S2O returned in 2025 and took over Los Angeles, it felt bigger, louder, and (somehow) even wetter!
From Coast to Coast
Seeing this festival come to life on both coasts was incredible. New York had that raw, fast-paced energy, spontaneous and full of first-time excitement. Los Angeles felt like the evolution: same spirit, but with palm trees, cinematic lighting, and a level of hollywood polish that only LA can pull off.
Pulse Events, the incredible team behind S2O, brought the same magic from New York and turned it all the way up for Los Angeles. The lineup delivered across genres, from Steve Aoki’s legendary cake moment, to R3HAB’s collaboration with PUBG Mobile that turned the main stage into a futuristic movie scene. And when those water cannons hit in sync with the drop? You could literally feel the crowd’s heartbeat.

The Splash Zone with the Babes
There’s a certain freedom that comes with knowing you’re going to leave a festival completely soaked. Nobody’s trying too hard. Nobody cares about the perfect outfit shot. Everyone’s just in it, laughing, screaming, and dancing shoulder to shoulder with strangers who suddenly feel like best friends.
We obviously came prepared: waterproof mascara, bold fits, and enough energy to outlast the downpour, but once the water cannons hit, all that went out the window (in the best way possible). S2O has a way of stripping away the surface-level stuff and pulling you right into the moment. You’re drenched, the bass is vibrating through your chest, and you can feel this magnetic shared energy ripple through the crowd.
That’s what makes S2O different. Whether you’re behind a camera or in the middle of the splash zone, it’s impossible not to get swept up in the magic. It’s music, water, and pure connection, all happening at once.
Why S2O Feels Different
What makes S2O special isn’t just the production, it’s the concept: The festival is inspired by Thailand’s Songkran celebration, a water festival rooted in renewal, joy, and community.
It’s one of those rare events where you can actually feel the culture behind the experience; the way it fuses Asian culture, modern production, and dance music into one experience that actually means something.
You leave feeling lighter. Happier. Recharged. Like you were part of something bigger than yourself for a night.
After attending both NYC and LA, it’s safe to say: S2O has officially mastered the art of turning water into magic.
