New York is home to many incredible EDM music events and festivals; most of which happen within the limits of the city! Evolutions Music Festival, however, has something much different to offer to the north east community! If you are a raver who prefers a camp set up over a hotel, there’s a New York festival just for YOU! Evolutions Music festival takes place this year September 5th -7th in Sugar Mountain Caneadea, New York featuring amazing artists like LEVEL UP and Alison Wonderland and focuses on combining human connection with an amazing selection of other electric music artists and art, all while camping in nature with new neighbors or old friends!
Aside from bringing together some of the hottest DJs in deep bass like Truth, Of the Trees, and Wonky Willa, Evolutions Festival has a clear vision of their purpose to the people and they put in a lot of energy to create an enjoyable atmosphere for the festival attendees. This is the most notable aspect of the festival!
Evolutions Music has a passionate mission to inspire creative transformation by uniting artists, performers, and audiences in an immersive experience. Through the intentional design of its different stage environments and art installations, Evolutions cultivates an inclusive space where traditional artistic expressions like music, painting, sculpture, and more are reimagined and enjoyed. Meaningful dialogue between different creators and the audience is also deeply encouraged through many workshops surrounding health and wellness and these are hosted by speakers who are just like us. By presenting carefully curated performances, interactive installations, and thought-provoking discussions within these workshops, Evolutions integrates a feeling of community between people from many walks of life to craft impactful experiences for everyone who attends!
Another memorable attraction within Evolution’s festival that everyone attending should participate in is FROG MIRROR! Sounds pretty interesting right !? Frog mirror is an immersive experience that happens exclusively at Evolutions Music festival all 3 days where attendees can receive clues and quests to win mirror frogs that can be redeemed for more trinkets and fun from the festival !! The game begins at Frog Hole right near the main stage and it’s a competitive adventure that allows you to connect with your friends nearby and the festival itself with outposts and clues all over the venue !! It’s an amazing way to heal your inner child and overall super nice for the side quest to be included in the experience rather than coming up with your own!
When festivals are like Evolutions and are 100% independently run, you can tell that the priority is community and connection over revenue! The crowd itself is very homey and deep-rooted so you will find a welcoming level of whimsy here at this event, allowing you to truly let go and FEEL! In many ways this festival puts art and its patrons first making it totally worth the addition to your festival planning this year! I know I will be in the mountains this September.
