Homebass, a resort-style music festival took place on November 7-11th, 2024 in Orlando, Florida, turning the DoubleTree by Hilton into Florida’s largest music festival resort! Whether you were dancing under the sun or partying until 6am, Homebass was the place to stay where you play before and after EDC Orlando. With pool parties by day, after parties that raged until sunrise, and spacious hotel rooms to crash in when the beats finally stopped, this festival had everything you could want.
Homebass makes getting to and from EDC a breeze with complimentary shuttles–so you can focus on the music and leave the transportation worries behind. This was The Festival Babe’s fourth Homebass and we love it more every year. We just can’t get enough of this unique festival that’s all about good vibes, amazing music, and nonstop fun!
The lineup was stacked with electronic acts across a variety of genres including dubstep, house, techno, drum and bass, and riddim. The four stages (Rehab 360°, Staycation, Home Invasion, and Playground) brought the heat, and we were treated to insane sets by artists like Gorilla T, Crankdat, Deathpact, Reaper, Malaa, Dani Thorne, G-Space, and Nghtmre– just to name a few of the sets that kept us dancing all weekend long! The babes and I especially enjoyed the strong female representation on the lineup, and personally, I had the most fun at Gorilla T, Deathpact, and Nghtmre’s throwback set!
Beyond the music, there were also several food options on-site to keep us fueled: A grab and go restaurant that was open until 6AM, Starbucks, gelato shop, and a breakfast buffet. The breakfast buffet was transformed into a Drag Queen brunch on Saturday which made for a fun and interactive way to start the day! With vendors like Kandies World, Beatbox, Grimez, Sick Beets Merch, Day Tripper, Cosmic Universal Babe, and more, there were endless opportunities to pick up cool festival gear and accessories. My personal favorite touch? There were mystery vending machines scattered around the resort, offering everything from mystery t-shirts and quirky earrings, to wild lighters and some other fun 18+ surprises.
The excitement didn’t stop there! Late-night silent disco by the pool, Frick Frack Blackjack, and pop-up renegade sets kept the fun going all night long! The Festival Babes had two official meetups on Saturday of Homebass. We kicked things off at the pool party during Sumthin Sumthin, soaking up the sun, dancing, and catching up with Homebass founder Brian Thomas! The 360° pool stage was perfect- plenty of space for everyone to enjoy the party without feeling cramped. Our second meetup was giving all of the late night vibes during none other than Rebecca Black. With Friday blasting and all the babes by our side, we had so much fun!
One of the best perks of Homebass was having your hotel room so conveniently close, giving us the ultimate flexibility to relax whenever we needed. Whether it was taking a quick nap between sets or heading up to our room to freshen up and change into your afters outfit, being just steps away from the action made everything feel so effortless. It was the perfect balance of excitement and downtime, letting us recharge and dive right back into the party whenever we were ready!
Homebass 2024 was truly unforgettable- a one of a kind festival that blends incredible music, resort style vibes, and a fun community of people. We loved having a weekend-long sleepover with our besties all weekend long while enjoying the pool and after parties. This is definitely one of the events we look forward to year after year. We can’t wait for next time!
