Ultra Music Festival Parties With A Purpose Through Their Female-Led Sustainability Program

Get ready to mark your calendars for the start of festival season 2024, because the Ultra Music Festival is not just bringing the premier EDM festival back to Bayfront Park on March 22-24, 2024, but it’s also setting a green example that’s got everyone talking!

Let’s face it, ladies – how many times have you been to a music festival or rave, and saw trash littered all over the ground? Totally kills the vibe, right? I don’t know about you, but as ravers,, if we preach taking care of each other, that means we have to take care of mother Earth too and support more sustainable festivals!

We’re absolutely delighted to share that Ultra’s very own environmental female-led team, Mission: Home, has taken home the prestigious Sustainability Team award at the World Sustainability Awards. Talk about girl power leading the charge in making our planet a better place!

Held in the Garden Of Amsterdam, this ceremony is no small affair. It shines a spotlight on those who integrate sustainability into their core, and this year, Mission: Home stood out among 220 organizations from 35 countries. Yes, you read that right! They outshone giants like Paramount and TELUS with their incredible environmental initiatives and impactful collaborations.

If you’re wondering just how big of a deal this is, let’s dive into what Mission: Home achieved at last year’s festival. Partnering with Clean Vibes, they managed to keep 184,000 pounds of waste out of landfills and ensured 100% recycling acceptance locally. With Replenysh’s help, over 81,049 pounds of cans and bottles were recycled, majorly cutting down our carbon footprint. And thanks to collaborations with Best Beverage CateringEvent Water Solutions, and Hope Hydration, a whopping 1.7 million plastics were saved from polluting our planet.

This win isn’t just a trophy to add to the shelf; it’s a testament to Ultra’s global leadership in festival sustainability, showing how we can party hard while caring for our Earth even harder.

This win isn’t just a trophy to add to the shelf; it’s a testament to Ultra’s global leadership in festival sustainability, showing how we can party hard while caring for our Earth even harder. As members of the EDM rave community, embracing the values of PLURR (Peace, Love, Unity, Respect, and Responsibility) means we need to extend our respect to Mother Earth and take active steps to care for our planet – and this can be as simple as recycling and picking up after yourselves!

As we gear up for Ultra 2024, Mission: Home is not just returning; they’re doubling down on their commitment to Waste Reduction, Pollution Prevention, Nature Preservation, Community Engagement, and Climate Action. It’s a call to action for all of us to support, celebrate, and get involved in these crucial initiatives.

So, Festival Babes, as we get ready to experience the magic of Ultra Music Festival 2024, let’s also gear up to be part of a movement that’s as much about saving the planet as it is about unforgettable beats. We can’t wait to dance under the Miami sky with you, making memories and a difference, one beat at a time.

Who’s with us? Let’s make Ultra 2024 the greenest festival yet! 🌍💃🎶
