There’s something really special about watching an idea come to life surrounded by people who genuinely care about community, creativity, and connection. That’s exactly what happened at Sun Sessions — The Festival Babes pop-up experience hosted at A La Cart City. What started as a vision for a small daytime gathering turned into one of the most heartwarming and inspiring events we’ve ever been part of.
From the second people started arriving, the entire space felt full of energy in the best way possible. Friends meeting friends, people dancing in the sunshine, artists connecting with attendees, handmade goods spread across colorful vendor booths, and music filling the air all day long. It genuinely felt like a mini festival rooted in creativity and intention.
One of the most beautiful parts of Sun Sessions was getting to showcase so many incredible brands and artists within our community. Huge thank you to our amazing vendors including Kat’s Bazaar, Cultish Crafts, and DDeluca Jewels for bringing such beautiful and unique creations to the space. We also had the opportunity to highlight the incredible work being done by One Heart, whose mission added an even deeper sense of purpose to the day.
The music throughout the event completely tied everything together. Massive thank you to Lady Jay and Lady Jay, Kyliente, and Maddy O’Neal for creating such an uplifting atmosphere and helping turn the entire event into a true experience instead of just a pop-up.
We especially want to highlight our interns and team members who worked so hard behind the scenes to make this happen. From setup, coordination, content creation, and greeting attendees to handling the countless little details throughout the day, this event would not have been possible without them. Watching our team connect with the community and help build something from the ground up was honestly one of the most rewarding parts of the entire experience.
Sun Sessions reminded us why The Festival Babes exists in the first place — to create spaces where people feel welcomed, inspired, expressive, and connected. This was so much more than just an event to us, and we’re leaving this experience feeling incredibly grateful for everyone who showed up and supported it.
