What best time to be in Vegas than during a summer weekend at Breakaway Las Vegas? From June 12-14, ravers from across the country are set to descend on Sin City for a high-energy weekend of dance music! So, pack your best swimwear, clubwear, and rave fits, and mosey on down to Sin City for a weekend you surely won’t forget.
The Breakaway Takeover is making its third return to the Wynn Las Vegas for three action-packed days of blood-pumping energy. Breakaway Las Vegas passes the vibe check on every level with two amazing venues as its backdrop. Known for their bone-rattling, all-enveloping sound system and mesmerizing visuals, Encore Beach Club will be serving up the goods during the day to sustain you for the pristine production at XS Nightclub. Honestly, XS nightclub is one of my favorite EDM Las Vegas Strip venues because of the sheer amount of space, or as I like to call it, jiggy room, throughout the venue.
The good thing about the dance-fueled night at the iconic Las Vegas venue is that there’s always an opportunity to catch a cool group to go to Afters with, and Las Vegas has a host of Afters to keep the party going into the wee hours of the night. It’s the magic of Las Vegas, baby!
And then there’s the lineup. Breakaway Las Vegas returns with an homage to the classics and a tip of the hat to the up-and-coming, featuring performances from breakout producer its murph, followed by electronic music pioneer Kaskade. While Kaskade indeed makes a regular appearance in Vegas for a residency, each show feels like the very first time, and I’m sure he’ll hold no punches at Breakaway Las Vegas 2026. But perhaps I’m most excited about Major Lazer, who bring more than hue to the range of sounds the three-day event plans to throw down. The dance-hall fusion crew is known to bring out a surprise guest or two, and who doesn’t love surprises? Rounding out the glitzy Sin City style three-day event is The Chainsmokers on Saturday night at XS Nightclub and Acraze on Sunday night.
No doubt, this three-day event has Las Vegas written all over. But, isn’t that what makes it truly special? The captivating energy of the city lights, mixed with the amazingly massive and immersive LED displays of these two world-class venues, sets my heart aflutter just thinking about it. Drop in some of the most heart-bumping and thrilling tracks from beloved DJs, and you’re ready to party all day, all night, on repeat.
