There was truly no better way to kick off festival season than at the fourth addition of We Belong Here Miami at the beautiful and iconic venue – Historic Virginia Key Beach Park.
There is nothing quite like listening to the enticing sounds of house music and feeling the ocean breeze hit you just right.
This yearβs We Belong Here was the best one yet, with many upgrades in production and stage layouts. We were loving every second of it!
Setting the Scene: Historic Virginia Key Beach Park
Nestled on the coast of Key Biscayne, the festival grounds were as beautiful as they were electrifying. With the beautiful Miami skyline in the distance, this venue has always been a personal favorite of mine. There is a serene feeling dancing with the sand beneath your feet and views of the rustling palm trees above your head. The whole venue feels open and free, as if the entire space was inviting us to step into the weekend and just let go.

The Game-Changing Upgrades: 360 Stage, Music, and Lasers
We Belong Here is notorious for their 360 stage design and this year we noticed some MAJOR upgrades to the sound systems and Production overall.
One of my favorite moments was watching Eric Prydz close out the main stage on day one of the festival and it was amazing to see the production live up to his nickname “the laser kingβ.
Every beat seemed to come alive in a new way, creating a fully immersive experience that felt like you were a part of the music itself. It was impossible not to get lost in the lights.
Some other honorable set mentions: Lane 8 and Kaskade.Β
Their music hits differently right by the ocean and the vibes during their sets will be something I will never forget.
What Made It Special: The Community and the Vibe
Of course the production and venue were amazing but what truly makes We Belong Here so special is the people.
The crowd was friendly, energetic, and everyone was there to experience the magic of the music together. Whether you were dancing with strangers or just enjoying the sunset with friends, there was this palpable sense of connection and with a 21+ crowd, there is a sense of maturity and respect.
Conclusion: A Weekend to Remember
As I reflect on another incredible year of We Belong Here, it is clear this festival is not like any other. To the breathtaking production upgrades, to the vibrant energy of the crowd, everything about it was designed to create lasting memories. I
If you get the chance to attend this festival next year, donβt hesitate.
Trust meβ¦. Youβll Belong There.
