We had the absolute pleasure of attending our very first Global Dance Festival this year, and just in time for them to break in a brand new venue. The esteemed Denver city fest took place at the National Western Complex for the first time. The venue boasts beautiful surrounding mountain views, both indoor and outdoor stages, and tons of room for dancing. 

This year’s lineup at Global Dance Fest was one for the books, featuring HUGE artists like The Chainsmokers, Fisher, and as well as some established bass music artists like Ravenscoon, Kayzo, and Champagne Drip. Moving around this venue we felt safe, at ease, and at home. Honestly, you would never know this was Global Dance’s first year at this venue. The event went off without a hitch, with no visible hiccups to attendees. 

Security was kind, involved, and appropriate. The staff were helpful and approachable. Fellow attendees said excuse me, looked out for each other, and were clearly just excited to be there. Global Dance Festival was a clear embodiment of what the EDM community is all about – music, culture, and PLURR. We give this event an absolute 10/10 and can’t wait to return, and maybe even venture to Decadence AZ, or CO in the future
