Washington, DC is about to get a whole lot louder.

GLOW Block Party is officially returning to Pennsylvania Avenue on Saturday, October 3, 2026, and this year’s lineup is giving us a VERY good reason to start planning a fall trip to DC. Diplo is headlining, Westend and Anabel Englund are joining the party, and for one day only, one of the most iconic streets in the country is becoming a massive outdoor dance floor. What a blast!

The second edition of Club Glow’s GLOW Block Party runs from 3 PM to 10 PM and brings together electronic music, local artists, food, art installations and DC culture for a one-day mini-festival right in the heart of the city.

Here’s everything we know about GLOW Block Party 2026 and why this one absolutely deserves a spot on your fall festival calendar.

GLOW Block Party takes over Pennsylvania Avenue in downtown Washington, DC, just steps away from landmarks like the Capitol, National Gallery of Art and National Archives. But instead of your typical Saturday afternoon of sightseeing, Club Glow is transforming the street into a full-scale outdoor party.

Expect a massive stage setup surrounded by the architecture of downtown DC, local food and retail vendors, art installations, bars and, of course, seven straight hours of electronic music.

Honestly, the location alone has us excited for this one. There’s something so fun about a festival that completely takes over a city rather than feeling separated from it—and dancing down Pennsylvania Avenue while the sun sets over DC sounds pretty hard to beat.

Now for the most important part: the music.

Diplo is officially headlining GLOW Block Party 2026, with Westend, Anabel Englund, Monty Kiddo and Ratalina joining the lineup.

If you love house music, this lineup is SO fun.

Westend is exactly the kind of tech-house energy we want in the middle of an outdoor block party, while Anabel Englund brings her signature combination of house music and vocals into the mix. Add Diplo closing things out in the middle of downtown DC and we already know the vibes are going to be immaculate.

And we LOVE that Club Glow is also using the event to spotlight artists from its own backyard.

The Homegrown Stage will feature Avishek, Fátima, Deuxchat and GUILLERMO, giving attendees another full area of music to explore throughout the day.

Our advice? Get there early and actually explore the Homegrown Stage. Some of our favorite festival memories have come from randomly wandering into a set from an artist we had never heard before.

A Mini Festival in the Middle of Washington, DC

Part of what makes GLOW Block Party so exciting is that it isn’t trying to be your traditional giant music festival.

It’s a destination mini-festival right in downtown DC.

One minute you’re surrounded by some of the most recognizable buildings in Washington, DC, and the next you’re in the middle of a crowd dancing to house music.

The festival will also feature local food and retail vendors, art installations and bars throughout the grounds, giving you plenty to explore when you need a break between sets. The full vendor list is still to come.

If you’re traveling into DC for the weekend, this also makes GLOW Block Party incredibly easy to turn into a full weekend trip. Explore the city, get brunch with your girls, get ready together and then head downtown for the party.

Is GLOW Block Party VIP Worth It?

For anyone who likes their festival experience with a few extra amenities, there will also be a VIP ticket option.

VIP includes 30-minute early entry, elevated bathrooms, a private covered lounge with seating, a private bar and elevated food options.

And honestly? The covered lounge is speaking to us.

Seven hours isn’t a marathon festival day, but having somewhere to sit down, regroup with your friends, grab food and take a little breather before heading back into the crowd can be such a nice upgrade.

What to Know Before GLOW Block Party

There are a few logistics you’ll definitely want to know before heading to Pennsylvania Avenue.

First, GLOW Block Party is 18+, and everyone will need an accepted form of identification to enter. Alcohol will be available throughout the festival grounds for attendees who are 21+ with proper ID.

The event begins at 3 PM and ends at 10 PM, and you can enter anytime after doors open. However, there is no re-entry, so once you’re inside, you’re committed. Make sure you have everything you need before heading through security.

Set times haven’t been released yet and will be announced closer to the event.

There will also be an on-site box office opening at 2:30 PM at the corner of 7th Street NW and Pennsylvania Avenue NW for ticket purchases, VIP upgrades, credential pickup and ticketing assistance.

What Can You Bring?

Before packing your festival bag, definitely check the official rules again closer to October, but Club Glow has already released a pretty extensive list of permitted and prohibited items.

Hydration packs and reusable water bottles are allowed but must be empty upon entry. Clear bags can be up to 12″ x 6″ x 12″, while small clear or non-clear clutch bags cannot exceed 6″ x 9″.

And because it wouldn’t be GLOW without a little actual glow, illuminated costumes and jewelry, glowsticks, LED hoops, poi and orbitals are permitted.

So yes. This is officially your excuse to make the outfit fun.

Professional camera equipment with detachable lenses, drones, selfie sticks, festival totems, outside food and drinks, chairs and blankets are among the items that aren’t allowed.

Club Glow currently lists its full bag policy as “coming soon,” so we recommend checking the official event page again before you head out.

Why We’re Excited for GLOW Block Party 2026

Festival season slowing down doesn’t mean we’re ready to stop dancing.

GLOW Block Party feels like the perfect transition into fall: one day, one iconic location, a stacked house lineup and an excuse to get all of your festival friends together for one more weekend.
