ARC, The Festival to Bring Chicago Back to it’s Roots

Chicago, IL is a city with the beginnings of its electronic music scene rooted in House and Techno. House music really exploded in Chicago in the late 1970’s and early 1980’s through the underground scene. ARC Music Festival makes its debut over Labor Day weekend this year to bring Chicago back to its roots. The festival is hosted at Union Park on September 4-5 and will have four Elrow curated stages, including an ARC music car that will feature local Chicago DJ’s! You definitely won’t want to miss Elrow’s new stage concept that they are bringing to ARC, called “Psychrowdelic Trip!”. There will also be art installations through out the venue for attendees to enjoy! The production and artistry at this festival will be one of a kind and something that Chi-Town has never seen before!

The line up features many artists across both genres of House and Techno. One of the biggest draws to ARC festival is that Eric Prydz has three sets across the weekend! It will be his first time ever playing a set under each of his aliases, which include Cirez D (B2B with Adam Beyer), Pryda (Warehouse style afterparty at Radius Nightclub), and Eric Prydz, during the same festival weekend. The line up also features several Chicago/Illinois native artists such as Gene Farris, Lee Foss, and Hiroko Yamamura. Other sets that you will not want to miss include: Camelphat, Luttrell, Christoph, Meduza, Zhu, Nicole Moudaber, Fisher, and Toni Varga!

If you haven’t purchased a ticket yet, do so now through the link below! This is going to be a festival experience that you will not want to miss out on! What better way to release the stress of 2020 than by dancing away the blues to some funky house music, in one of the cities responsible for creating it?!
