Joshua Tree Music Festival: The Magic in the Desert

Joshua Tree Music Festival: The Magic in the Desert

How has it already been two weeks since we danced our hearts out in the desert? Joshua Tree Music Festival was nothing short of magic – if you’ve ever been to Joshua Tree in California, you’re familiar with the energy that the area brings. It’s electric – not like New York City electric, but spiritually charged. You feel the magic in the atmosphere. Supernatural things happen here. Add ariel artists, live music, lasers, funky rugs and disco balls, and you’ve got yourself the one-of-a-kind music festival that you’ll never forget.

Some of the music acts to highlight from the weekend are: The Philharmonik, HoneyWild, Stephen Lewis Big Fun Duo, House of Hamsa and more! I think one of the most beautiful things about music is experimenting with different genres and mediums for listening. It’s what makes music a universal language.

If you’re ever looking for a break from the EDM, I highly suggest making the trip to California. Joshua Tree is about 2 ½ hours east of Los Angeles. Better yet, if you’ve never dipped your toe in the music festival scene, JTMF is the best appetizer. One of the yearly festival goers proclaimed, “We don’t go to music festivals, but we come to this one!” and the team went on to explain that statement a little further…

You love a live music experience, but not the maddening crowds. You’d prefer to see the performers eyes, not watch them on the Jumbotron 75 yards from the stage. If you go camping for the weekend, you want to bring your whole family and know that everyone will have fun and be safe. You love connecting on a deeper level with folks, but not keen on paying lots of hard earned coin to jostle through crowds. You’re not a fan of long lines. You want to drive away rejuvenated, not depleted. To feel nourished. Time is precious; you want your weekend to be a rich experience

If that doesn’t make you smile a bit and add “TO DO: Attend Joshua Tree Music Festival 2025” to your notes or text your rave fam about it, I encourage you to try it anyway. The magic in the desert is unmatched, and lifelong enriching experiences await.
