By day, festival-goers bask in the California sun, lounging by the lake, participating in yoga sessions, and exploring a myriad of workshops and art installations. The Compass area offers enriching experiences with workshops on topics like climate action, love and relationships, and indigenous cultures.
As the sun sets, the energy shifts to the festival’s diverse stages. The Lightning, Woogie, and Thunder Stages each offer unique musical experiences, from house and techno to bass and indie-electronic sounds. Community-driven spaces like The Stacks, The Junkyard, and The Grand Artique provide more intimate settings, often featuring surprise back-to-back sets and emerging artists, and of course, our favorite, The Do Lab Stage. As the most aesthetically-pleasing stage there, the Do Lab is actually the heart of the festival as a whole. LIB is a Do Lab festival, with surprise sets all weekend and endless opportunities to create new experiences and memories that will last a lifetime.
Pro tip: if there’s a sunrise set at The Grand Artique – go. It was probably the most magical experience I’ve had as a festival goer.
