Project GLOW 2026: Another Unforgettable Weekend in Washington, D.C.

Project GLOW 2026: Another Unforgettable Weekend in Washington, D.C.

Another year, another unforgettable weekend in our nation’s capital.

Project Glow returned to Washington, D.C. on May 30-31 for its fifth anniversary edition, bringing thousands of ravers together for two days of music, art, community, and dance floor magic at the RFK Festival Grounds. Created through the partnership between Club Glow and Insomniac, the festival has quickly become one of the East Coast’s favorite destinations for electronic music lovers, and after this year’s event, it’s easy to see why.

From the moment attendees walked through the gates, Project Glow delivered exactly what we’ve come to expect: vibrant production, colorful art installations, multiple stages packed with talent, and a crowd that came ready to dance from open to close.

A Lineup That Had Something For Everyone

One of Project Glow’s biggest strengths has always been its ability to blend genres, and this year’s lineup was no exception.

Whether you spent your weekend getting emotional during Gryffin’s sunset set, getting down at Excision B2B Sullivan King, vibing to Porter Robinson’s DJ set, dancing through house grooves with Mau P and Cloonee, or embracing the darker side of dance music with Sara Landry, there truly wasn’t a wrong place to be. The lineup featured more than 50 artists spanning house, bass, techno, trance, and everything in between.

The weekend was filled with impossible set conflicts, the kind that every festival-goer secretly loves to complain about because it means the lineup is stacked from top to bottom.

Production That Keeps Getting Better

Project Glow may not be the biggest festival in the country, but that’s exactly part of its charm.

The Eternal, Pulse, and Secret Garden stages each offered their own unique atmosphere, allowing attendees to bounce between massive mainstage moments and more intimate dance floor experiences throughout the weekend.

Everywhere you looked, there were opportunities for photos, art installations to explore, and groups of friends creating memories that will undoubtedly live on long after the weekend ended.

The Fashion Was Giving

Can we talk about the outfits?

Project Glow attendees understood the assignment.

From sparkling bodysuits and metallic fits to colorful pashminas, kandi stacks, platform boots, and festival glam that survived two full days of dancing, the crowd brought the energy. The DMV rave scene continues to show up with some of the most creative festival fashion on the East Coast, and this year was no exception.

The Festival Babes team loved seeing so many attendees expressing themselves unapologetically while embracing the welcoming and inclusive spirit that dance music culture is all about.

More Than Just A Music Festival

What makes Project Glow special isn’t just the lineup or production, it’s the community.

Throughout the weekend, strangers became friends in security lines, kandi was exchanged between sets, and countless moments reminded us why we continue to return to festivals year after year.

Project Glow has grown significantly since its debut in 2022 and now welcomes tens of thousands of attendees annually, but it still manages to maintain the intimate, community-driven feeling that makes it stand out from larger events.

In a festival landscape that often feels crowded, Project Glow continues to carve out its own identity by celebrating dance music culture in the heart of Washington, D.C.

Until Next Year, Glow Fam

Project Glow’s fifth anniversary was a massive success.

To everyone who danced, traded kandi, discovered a new favorite artist, reunited with festival friends, or attended their very first rave this weekend, we hope you’re hydrating, resting, and already planning your return.

We’ll see you back under the lights next year.

Stay glowing, babes! 🪩✨
